When you exercise, your shoes absorb a lot of moisture within the pair of women running shoes, which can lead to smells and bacteria growth within your shoes. Which is something that you don’t want. To ensure that the shoes are really clean, you need to remove what is on the outside as well as what is on the inside, as you want to remove all the odor and bacteria that maybe forming inside and around your shoes. Read the instructions that the pair of shoes provides you with, and they are usually placed on the tongue of the shoe. The tag will most likely say, machine use or something similar, and will say that the exercise shoes are safe to use in the machine.

First thing you need to do, is remove the laces from the pair of women running shoes, and put them in the hand washable bag. When you remove the laces, remember the way that your pulled them out, so that you can replace them later in the same order. This is needed to prevent the laces from getting stuck within the wash.

Once you have done this, put the pair of women shoes and the hand washable bag into the washing machine. Switch on the washing machine, and put the machine on for a cold wash cycle with a small load size.

In the washing machine, place a normal amount of laundry detergent along with a 1/2 cup of vinegar, along with a 1/2 cup of baking soda. The reason for the vinegar, is that it kills the bacteria within the shoes and the baking soda gives the shoes some color, as well as removing the odor that has formed within the shoe.

Leave the washing machine to complete the cycle. Once your washing machine has finished remove the shoes and the laces from the bag. Place the shoes and the shoe laces somewhere where they could dry out, and leave them on a flat surface and place them face up as well and apart from each other.  Once the pair of shoes have dried, replace the shoe laces in the shoes so that you are ready to use them again. Now you can wear your shoes with pride as you no longer have to worrying about the smell and odor coming from them.
